The purpose of the project is to build a regional cycling link between the Municipality of Ptuj and the municipalities of Hajdina, Kidričevo and Majšperk. Daily mobility will be achieved between Ptuj as a regional centre and hinterland gravitational settlements and neighbouring municipalities. A sensible, safe and comfortable cycling link will provide a federal connection of Ptuj with neighbouring municipalities, which will also be of regional importance. The cycling link is linked to the objectives of the Integrated Transport Strategy of the Municipality of Ptuj, which was adopted in 2017. This operation foresees the establishment of 26.85 km of new cycling connections.
