The GReENEFF project is intended to provide a framework for exchanges, monitoring and new common channels of support (participation model) and for the implementation of exemplary projects (pilot projects) in the field of sustainable neighbourhoods (component 1) and high-energy-performance social housing (component 2). These two thematic areas complement each other and form a development strategy. Social housing will act in a certain way as a “laboratory” in which the strategies of sustainable neighbourhoods will be implemented at a concrete operational level. These results can then be reinstated in the area of sustainable neighbourhoods and serve as model projects for sustainable urban planning.
