The main aim of this element is to engage children and young people in meaningful activities which will develop their soft skills and respect for diversity, increasing the percentage of young people in the County who play sports or socialise with others of a different religious community and increasing the percentage of young people who think cross community relations are better than they were 5 years ago. Through 9 individual projects, this programme will engage with 1,374 children and young people to participate in a range of events including training and leadership, conflict mediation training programmes, minority sports, digital media, diversionary Youth Programme and shared reading.
