The main goal of the project is the support of the cooperation and development of the cultural heritage locations, furthermore, the expansion of the attraction of cross-border region, the common activity of the town Šamorín and the St. Mór Benedictine Prior in Győr as a result. The principal activities beside the renovation of the Koruna Building in Šamorín and the reconstruction of the St. Mór Prior building in Győr are common exhibitions, mutual conferences with religious and canonical topic, creating choral meetings. These events in both towns will take place and will be well integrated, thus in Győr as the opening event and in Šamorín as closing conference. The expected results of the project are the significantly increased number of the visitors arriving from the neighbouring countries on both sides of the border, establishing a mutual cultural strategy with 8 cultural programs a year, and ensuring overall 1500 visitors a year on both sides of the border concerning the development attractions. The target group of the conjoined conferences and workshops is nearly 400 people, students of the senior classes of elementary schools, of secondary schools, the participants and representatives of the Slovak-Hungarian cross border canonical life, and last but not least the residents and visitors of Šamorín and Györ region. The reconstruction of the Koruna building also enables establishing a tourist information office in the heart of the town, where the number of visitors exceeds 1000 people and which would significantly contribute to increasing the tourism.
