The project´s aim is to increase the attractiveness of the cultural heritage through creation of secure connection between Mikulčice and Kopčany for cyclists, hikers and locals within unique location of Slavic fortification Velke Moravy with connections to the early Christianity. Main project´s activity is a construction of Foot Bridge 143 m long, over the bordering river Morava with construction of access infrastructure, with total length of 3, 1 km with 8, 5 km of new biking trails which will connect to the already existing infrastructure, preparing and distribution of 500 publications for location propaganda. The project implementation is based on long term concept of cross-border archaeological park, aspiring to be named “European heritage”. Project enables mutual development of the location by usng the local cultural and natural attractions potential.
