THE RATIONALE OF THE PROJECT IS TO EXPLOIT TIGEM’S DIFFERENT COMPETENCES IN THE FIELD OF RNA ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION THROUGH NGS TO PROCESS GENETIC MATERIAL EXTRACTED FROM NASAL OR PHARYNGEAL SWABS OF SARS-COV-2 PATIENTS.TRAMITE A SINGLE BIOLOGICAL MATERIAL PROCESSING REACTION AND A SINGLE NGS SEQUENCING WE ARE ABLE TO ADAPT OUR TECHNOLOGY TO SIMULTANEOUSLY STUDY ALL RNA SPECIES PRESENT IN THE BUFFER.
