THIS DOCTORATE CONCERNS THE FORMATION OF A PROFESSIONAL SCIENTIFIC PROFILE THAT HAS HIGH SKILLS IN THE FIELD OF COMPUTATIONAL HYDRAULICS AND IN THE ASSESSMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF THE RISK ASSOCIATED WITH NATURAL DISASTERS. IN THE CONTEXT OF THE THREE YEARS OF TRAINING, THE STUDY OF HYDRAULIC MODELS ON A BASIN SCALE WILL BE ADDRESSED, IDENTIFYING THE PROBLEMS, PROPOSING ALTERNATIVE MATHEMATICAL MODELS AND THE USE COUPLED WITH TERRITORIAL INFORMATION IN REALE TIME.THE PROPOSAL THEREFORE AIMS TO BE THE ANSWER TO A CONCRETE PROBLEM THAT FOR YEARS HAS AFFLICTED THE ENTIRE NATIONAL TERRITORY: THE HYDRAULIC RISK ASSOCIATED WITH FLOOD EVENTS.
