The project VUX2.0 will introduce digital tools throughout municipal adult education in the City of Stockholm. VUX 2.0 will offer up-skilling for teachers to enable them to use the opportunities that digital technology allows to meet each student's needs. The project is expected to contribute to the improvment of results for students and increase the accessiblity of the courses for everyone regardless of sex or disability. Results expected from the project is enhanced opportunities for individualized instruction, increased opportunities for an overview of class processes and enhanced opportunities for ongoing feedback to students as well as increased efficiency in administrative tasks for teachers. In adult education, generally, the courses are conducted with high standards of personalization. While the classes are often large, the courses are relatively short, and students have increasingly diverse backgrounds, abilities and language skills. These factors combine to make the need for individualized instruction, great. Efforts to increase awareness of gender issues and accessibility related to digital tools is part of the project. VUX2.0 is run by the Labour Market Administration in the City of Stockholm.
