Social innovation and sustainable employability is a complex topic and has many facets. From all aspects of social innovation and personal development, we see “too little self-development of the employees, supported by the employer, which prevents the flow and sustainable employability of employees” as the main problem. This means that workers and employers must be made aware of the need to develop themselves further. Next, this process should also be initiated in order to give real impetus to the sustainable employability of employees. Through the implementation of the project plan, OTIB aims to raise awareness among employers and employees about the need to further develop themselves and the company, making employees more sustainable. By carrying out a number of pilots, OTIB wants to investigate how all existing instruments can be used together. Subsequently, as many employees as possible should actually do something about the results. The project plan consists of the following components: A1. Mapping the results of the various instruments. The outcome of the study will serve as an input for pilots and will serve as a 0-measurement against which the results of the pilots will be compared. A3. Draw up a communication plan. B1. Two groups of pilots will be carried out. The pilots will be designed on the basis of the output from phase A1. These are 8 pilots within companies and 20 pilots for which employees can register. Both pilots will be identical but not all linked to companies. B2. Carrying out information activities. The communication will continue throughout the project. Additional attention will be paid to the publication of the results in June 2019. B4. Measurement and evaluation of results.
