In the Amsterdam Experiment with the Assistance, participants receive a contribution for two years if they have a job in addition to their benefit. We investigate what kind of support works best for work and reintegration. Where a person with a part-time job earns money, the amount of the supplementary allowance shall be determined. But we want to reward work even more. Participants in the Amsterdam Experiment with the Assistance will therefore receive an additional premium. Participants will therefore participate in a study. We want to know whether a premium encourages people with benefits to seek (part-time) employment. And what kind of support to work works best. Research We do the research together with the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and the Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HvA). There are three different groups within the experiment. Guidance for work and reintegration varies from group to group: 1. Self-directive group This group determines which guidance they want after a conversation with the customer manager. 2.Extra attention group This group has the double number of contact moments with the customer manager. 3.Comparative group For this group everything remains the same as it is. The participant gets a place in one of the three groups. In doing so, we do not look at the person or the circumstances. The participant has no influence on which group he will end up in. Quite sometimes, the customer manager can decide that a participant is not classified in the Self-regulatory group. At the end of the experiment there will be a research report.
