From school year 2014-2015 to 2018-2019, PrO/vso in AMR Drechtsteden has invested the additional ESF resources in -improving labour management and sustainable labour application/integration of approximately 500-600 pupils aged 15 and over each year. In view of the vulnerable labour market position of their own pupils (including the Corona crisis and the RIVM measures), the coordinating centre municipality of Dordrecht aims to facilitate PrO/vso in the labour market region of Drechtsteden in school year 2020-2021, without prejudice to the additional ESF resources in the transition from school to employment of around 500 pupils. The work-preparatory commitment in the final phase of education promotes a good start-up position, which allows a successful entry into the labour market. Labour management of PrO/vso pupils is shaped by an intensive cooperation of schools with regional stakeholders during the transition phase, i.e. the last 2 school years to 2 years after care. In view of the proven added value of “short lines” and each other’s expertise, PrO/vso schools in all efforts aimed at sustainable labour integration ensure consistency with the existing agreements with the Social Service Drechtsteden (SDD) on the joint preventive approach to school leavers PrO/vso/Entree, as well as the established outflow consultations where contact persons from PrO/vso schools, UVW and SDD discuss school leavers who do not move to work or further training from school. Together, we look at what support the young person needs to accompany him/her to work or further education. The participating schools are spon De Sprong (PrO) in Sliedrecht, spon VSO de Stroom in Dordrecht, spon VSO School Bleyburgh in Sliedrecht, Hans Petrischool (PrO) in Dordrecht, Wartburg College location Marnix (PrO) in Dordrecht and Yulius Education Drechtster College (VSO) in Dordrecht.
