Energy development of the buildings of Dunaföldvár Municipality Municipality School and Nursery School

The target audience of the project is the minor population of Dunaföldvár and its surroundings, the age group under the age of 14. The project is located in the suburban part of Dunaföldvár, west of road 6. The project’s objective is to create buildings that are considered state-of-the-art in the long term as a result of the renovation and meet the so-called harmonised requirements after 2020. The project also aims to significantly reduce energy costs, with less than one third of the current energy costs expected to be incurred in the future. The professional content of the project per institution is as follows: Speeches József Primary School: Installation of solar panels with a total of 20 polycrystalline solar batteries with 255 Wp power, 2 single-phase 2.5 kVA inverters. Boiler room and heating modernisation: a 50 kW condensation boiler is placed in the boiler room, with external temperature-based programmable regulation, thermostatic valves can be controlled in all rooms. The exterior thermal insulation of the facade is made with 12 cm thick thermal insulation material. The attic receives 2x10 cm thick thermal insulation. Doors and windows will be replaced with modern doors and windows with plastic structure, IowE insulated glazing. The classification of the building is changed from the current category II to category BB. Accessibility plan: 1 barrier-free sanitary block (washroom, toilet). Unobstructed modification of the main entrance with railing, handrails, infocommunication accessibility. Eszter Chain Kindergarten: Solar panel installation, 10 pcs 255 Wp polycrystalline solar panels and 1 pcs 2.5 kVa single-phase inverter will be installed on the southern roof. Boiler room heating upgrade: a 25 kW condensation boiler is placed in the boiler room, with external temperature-based programmable regulation, thermostatic valves can be adjusted in all rooms. The facades receive 10 cm thick thermal insulation, the attic receives 10 cm thick thermal insulation. Doors and windows will be replaced with modern doors and windows with plastic structure, IowE insulated glazing. The classification of the building is changed from the current category GG to category BB. Accessibility plan: 1 barrier-free sanitary block (washroom, toilet). Unobstructed modification of the main entrance with railing, handrails, infocommunication accessibility. The project will significantly reduce the annual energy cost on both sites. The project contributes to the EU’s 2020 energy efficiency and renewable energy targets, significantly reduces the costs of primary education and contributes to the development of the municipality.
