In the context of the call “Socially and environmentally sustainable tourism development” (code number: Top-1.2,1-16, hereinafter: The project will be implemented by the Municipality of the Öttevény Municipality. The project is of regional importance, which increases the number of visitors to the Five and its surrounding destinations. Indirectly, it has the potential to increase local employment in the region. According to point 3.1.1(C) of the Call, the planned cycle route is an active tourism development and thus an activity that can be independently supported, since it is connected to international and national cycling tourism networks (EuroVelo, SacraVelo), local tourist attractions. The cycle path connects the Fittevény with the Alsó-Sziget Inter-municipal settlements and Győr, so the agglomeration living here, the cyclists interested in active tourism can visit more attractiveness and spend more time on and near the Öttevény. The cycle path created by the development will be used for cyclists throughout the year. The planned cycle path leads a larger part in the state area and a smaller part in the municipal area. Following the planned development, a safe, cycling-friendly relationship between Fittevény and Abda will be established with the construction of a 2.7 km long two-way cycle path. Description and typical technical parameters of the new cycling route to be established between the two settlements, which is of particular tourist importance according to the criteria detailed in the introduction: — one-side bi-directional cycle path between the municipalities of Öttevény and Abda; — the bicycle road is mainly situated on the outskirts of the village of Öttevény, parallel to the main road No. 1, on the north-north-east side of the road (more advantageous than the possible other route on the south side, because it can be constructed by using less foreign space and on long stretches on the road); — length of cycle path: 2.667 m — 2.00 m in urban areas, 2.25 m on the outskirts; — according to the proposal, the pavement of the cycle path would be built with a 15 cm highlight, with 2.5 % sideways towards the ditch; — a safety lane of 0.5 m shall be provided between the highway No 1 and the cycle path; — the water gathered next to the border can sometimes be led to the ditch by the installation of a sinkhole and pipe shaft; — the construction of a supporting wall may also be justified because of the significant difference in the level of the border highlighted on the short sections of the five-team and Abda (part-sections of each of them) or, in some cases, due to the significant level difference; — on the long stretch of the outskirts, the cycle path runs on the other side of the ditch, next to the tree line; — the pavement would be built with a one-sided drop of 2.5 % towards the ditch in a cross-sectional design; — the elevation and horizontal lines would follow the line of the main road 1; — cycle path crosses the solid pavement road leading to the Fittevény gravel mine (here the pavement of the cycle path must be connected to the existing pavement level and the passage must be marked with paint; — the cycle path is connected to an electrical power supply overhead line; — on the urban section of Abda, public lighting shall be installed up to the end sign of the settlement; — the dewatering of the bicycle road pavement can be achieved by draining the entire section into a dripping ditch (the construction material is to be built on a section next to the building material site and the water must be ditched into the nearby drainage ditches); — a detailed rainwater drainage plan must be drawn up in the next phase of the plan (the study plan does not deal with underground utilities, the presence of which may affect the method of draining the rainwater); — an important requirement is the replacement of the vegetation cut out during construction... — the section of the cycle road runway is covered with asphalt, and asphalt materials may be incorporated into the structure of the track in accordance with technical road regulations 2-3,301; — according to the proposal, the casing base is a continuous grain distribution crushed stone material without hydraulic binder (the requirements of technical specifications 2-3,206 and 2-3,207 of the Road Code are to be complied with; to prevent frost damage, it is necessary to install a sandy gravel frost protection layer under the track structure: 3 cm vtg. AC 8 wear layer 4 cm vtg. AC 11 binding layer 15 cm vtg. FZKA base layer 20 cm vtg. Sandy gravel — 42 cm The information described in the study plan — including the technical solutions and parameters outlined above, as well as the presented traffic solutions (signals, pavement signs) and environmental protection requirements — and the cost estimate will be clarified and finalised by the authorisation plan to be prepared in the next phase.
