THE AIM OF THE PROJECT IS TO: The establishment of a tourist cycle path between the frequent resort area of Baranya county, the West Mecsek area and the Ormánság with rich cultural and architectural values. The development of cycling tourism based on local and regional attractiveness increases tourism in the regions. Due to its positive impact on tourism, it stimulates the local economy and has a positive impact on employment. PROFESSIONAL-TECHNICAL CONTENT: C) (a) The development of cycling tourism will be developed to explore and connect the tourist attractions of the Sellye and Orfű regions. A significant part of the route is designated on low-traffic road sections. Where this is justified by the use of motor vehicles and necessary because of local conditions, a cycle path is built. The completed cycle path also serves as the backing route of the international EuroVelo 13 cycle path, as it is connected to one of the branches of the international cycle path DDOP-2.1.1/E-13-2013-0001 in Sellyén. Action group ineligible on its own: bicycles equipped with electric assistance in accordance with point (a) will be purchased in electric bicycle rentals to be installed in Sikonda and Orfű. Docking stations, communication panels, control software and motion sensors required for the operation of the rental companies are also procured within the framework of the project. Bicycle support is placed on seven locations. Activities that are not eligible independently and are to be carried out on a mandatory basis: marketing activities are carried out in accordance with point (a), the aim of which is to make the tourist cycling route known to the target groups, together with local and regional tourism attractions. We intend to achieve the introduction of the cycle path through campaign events, promotional tools, vibrant media appearance, IT services. the provision of mandatory publicity in accordance with point (e). This includes the preparation of subpages, press releases, “B”, “C” and “D” type signs, photo documentation, public closing event of the press, uploading TÉRKÉPTÉR and a results communication information publication. FULFILMENT OF PROFESSIONAL-TECHNICAL CONDITIONS: The project involves an investment that is sustainable in the long term with the involvement of interested municipalities and is designed to meet the needs of the selected target groups. Thanks to the experience elements attached to the trail of the tourist cycle path, it contributes to increasing guest nights and increasing spending per tourist, thus facilitating the development of enterprises specialising in tourism in the region. We plan the operation of the electric bicycle rental companies in cooperation with the relevant economic operator. Details of this will be determined during the project development. Members of the consortium partberek of hops and Orfű are registered as TDM organisation. A tourism expert will be involved to develop the professional content of the project. Due to its nature, the result of the project is constantly available to tourists, with the exception of the electric bicycle rental, which should not be operated during the coldest period of winter. Nevertheless, the outcome of the project will fully contribute to reducing seasonal fluctuations in tourism. During the period of project development, the marketing strategy will be developed, which makes the results of the project available to the target audience. In accordance with the technical requirements, the bike resting places were designated as 10 km on the track. Bicycle supports are installed at major tourist destinations. Information signs along the cycle path help cyclists to navigate. The places of insurance of service packages and the provision of the specialist service providing services are defined during the project development. The technical designs of the cycle path and related infrastructure elements will also be completed during the project development phase. FULFILMENT OF EVALUATION CRITERIA: The ownership of the properties involved in the installation of bicycle rest areas and electric bicycle rentals is well-established as they are municipally owned. The properties involved in the construction of the cycle path are municipal, public and partly privately owned. Ownership will be settled during the project development period. The project is in line with the objective of tourism development in the Integrated Regional Development Programme of Baranya County, which aims to increase employment inherent in tourism.
