The operation of the water utility is a complex professional task, requires compliance with a high level of technical, economic, management and legislative criteria, so that the owner of the Hungarian State or local government also fulfils the mandatory, undisturbed public utilities tasks laid down by law. The complete and substantive assessment and evaluation of the resulting and related existing water utility assets, which have not yet been evaluated, is necessary for the performance of the task, and the preparation of replacement plans is relevant for the calculations underlying financial sustainability. The aim of the project is to carry out the asset assessment and final cost-benefit analysis of water utility projects to be implemented under the Environmental and Energy Efficiency Operational Programme (KEHOP) in the 2014-2020 EU programming period. The surveys and evaluations to be carried out are necessary for the putting into operation of the projects, their calculations establishing financial sustainability, and the preparation of relevant replacement plans. Professional activities under the project: — Preparation of a cost-benefit analysis (CBA): carrying out the (final) Cost-benefit analysis necessary for the completion of the projects in order to verify the sustainability of water utility projects under priority KEHOP-2 of the 2014-2020 programming period, — asset assessment tasks: preparation of asset assessment of water utility systems covered by water utility projects under priority KEHOP-2 and compilation of water utility inventory in accordance with Article 24/2013.
