Drainage and purification of waste water from Szerencs-centred agglomeration

In the framework of the investment, the conditions for the proper treatment of the waste water disposal agglomerations with more than 2 000 population equivalent loads are met in order to ensure the coverage of the sewage utility closes to almost 100 % of the public drinking water consumers. The professional expectation of the project is that Hungary will comply with the requirements of EU law by the deadline set. Within the framework of the investment, the waste water treatment plant of the town of Szerencs and the waste water drainage systems in the municipalities of Szerencs (CS) and Legyesbénye (CS) will be developed. An area sludge treatment centre is also set up at the waste water treatment plant. In its approval No BM/6422-2/2018, the Ministry of Interior accepted the needs of the agglomeration (Bekecs, Legyesbénye, Mád, Mezőzombor, Rátka, Szerencs) for plant development (TF) and for the construction of a transmission line (SZ). The technical content of the project follows the classification of waste water agglomeration according to the Regulation. The amount of sewerage reconstruction to be declared does not exceed 5 % of the eligible costs.
