The Nutsberény waterworks serve the combined supply of drinking water to the two villages. The water base of water production is provided by deep-drilled wells. The quality of the raw water produced — in the absence of water treatment technology — is higher than the content of ammonium (NH4+), iron (Fe2+) and manganese (Mn2+) on the quality requirements of drinking water and the control system. The relevant limit values for chemical water quality characteristics in accordance with Annex 1 to Government Decree No 25 of 25 October 2012. The planned technical and technological development works will be carried out at the waterworks plant in Nutsberény. Installation of a 120 m³/d complex water treatment plant (iron, manganese and deammonium de-ammonium) type Fm-a with a capacity of 120 m³/d and associated facilities (construction and extension of the water treatment building; deep-drilled well; iron sludge settler; a perimeter wiring network; waterworks service road) is being built.
