The Somogysárd water plant to be developed is located in the inner part of the settlement (101hrsz.), which is operated by Kaposvár Water and Channelmű Kft. At present, water production is provided by 2 operating wells. To improve the quality of the water supplied, we plan to establish an environmentally friendly technology based on the principles of water treatment and biochemical oxidation. Installation of an FM-am complex water treatment equipment on the water plant, internal transformation of the water treatment building and related facilities (yard pool; ferrous sludge sedimentator; a perimeter wiring network; a service road) is being built. It is also necessary to set up an internal service road and to replace and extend the wiring network in the courtyard. The planned reconstruction does not exceed 20 % of the total eligible costs.
