Improvement of drinking water quality in the village of Nagybánhegyes

The main objective of the project is to enable the provision of healthy drinking water in the settlement, the quality of which corresponds to 201/2001. (X.25.) Government Decree (X.25.) on the limits of chemical components. Improve the quality and operational safety of municipal drinking water services and reduce the potential for secondary contamination. On the basis of the water quality of the wells, it is necessary to reduce the arsenic content of the water, so the independent de arsenic technology supplying the settlement will be installed in the existing water plant II. It is also necessary to carry out the reconstruction and development of outdated water network elements, but the amount of the recreation of the drinking water network to be declared does not exceed 20 % of the eligible costs. The project is carried out within the administrative area of Nagybánhegyes village.
