Preparation of the changeover on the Szombathely — Kőszeg railway line No. 18 from the current diesel traction to a lighter environmental traction, resulting in lower CO2 emissions and reduced environmental load compared to the current traction mode. As part of the project, the planned electrification in 17.5 km will be prepared. The preparatory project shall include the following tasks: a. conduct public procurement procedures related to preparation; B. Completion of a feasibility study and CBA; C. Preparation of the Environmental Work Part (EVD/CPR); preparation of climate risk analysis, ecological impact assessment, assessment and verification of compliance with the Water Framework Directive; D. Preparation of the necessary documentation for obtaining licences and certification; e. Preparation of construction tender documentation; F. Performance of communication tasks;
