Explore Northern Hungary’s tourist product range on foot

Discover the tourist product range of Northern Hungary on foot: 1. Forest gymnastics in Galyatető: Forest gymnastics with 16 stations, for foreign samples (for children and adults, athletes and amateurs) with signs. The elements of the gymnastics would be made of wood, complementing light metal accessories for one or two elements. Each element is provided with a stable concrete-based fixation that ensures stability and stability during regular use. 2. István Dumpó Lookout in Eger: We plan a complete renovation of the metal structure lookout tower built about 60 years ago within the project. By retaining the support structure of the lookout, a modern lookout tower would be built in line with the requirements and needs of today, while renovating and strengthening the support structure. The planned new lookout tower will have a peak height of 34 m and a height of 18.15 m. 3. Refurbishment of the parking lot in Galyatető: Complete renovation and refurbishment of a single car park in the centre of the village with the design of cars and bus car parks. The technical plan includes plans for draining the area and planting green surfaces. The development of the tourism infrastructure, the parking lot is a good starting point for excursions, as well as an opportunity to organise events. Investment elements of Northern Forest: 1. The four season resting place in István-kút is located on the trail of the National Blue Tour in the trihuta village border with István-kút and its surroundings. With the reconstruction of the István-kút wooden house and the renovation of the stone house, four seasons of resting places will be created, emphasising the unique natural conditions of the area, in which weather monitoring and displaying research rooms are also established. In relation to sustainability: the electric current is provided by solar panels, the flushing water in the sanitary block is achieved by recycling rainwater. A webcam is also installed on the wooden house, which contributes to the promotion of the project element. 2. On the southern side of Nagy-Milic, next to the trail of the National Blue Tour, the house of Csatarét is located in a four-season resting place in the north of Csatarét. Zsófia Lookout and Study Path The Zsófia Lookout originally defined the scenery of the Lillafüred side of Mount Dolka in the first half of the 20th century and was one of the outstanding destinations of Lillafüred. During the project, the original lookout is reconstructed in accordance with today’s requirements and social needs. Within the framework of the project, the reconstruction of the former walkway will also be realised. The forest, forest management, the landscape where the facility is located, the cultural values are presented on the educational path through signs. Forest furniture sets and benches are also available for relaxation. 5.
