The Spektrum Programme aims to improve the employability, skills and competences of employees in line with the aim of the Hungarian Government. This will be achieved by implementing training courses that broaden the spectrum of skills and competences of the existing workforce, following the principles of adult learning. Since employability is greatly improved with the widest possible knowledge and that the working environment is one of the most important places for adult learning, the companies participating in the Spektrum Programme actively contribute to the achievement of the goals of both Hungary and the European Union. Meanwhile, the competitiveness not only of the employees participating in the programme, but also of the individual companies and of the entire MÁV group is improving, in line with the key strategies of domestic employment policy, adult education and innovative industrial development. The policy strategy to underpin the development of employment policy in the period 2014-2020 and the Framework Strategy for Lifelong Learning Policy also give priority to employer-sponsored adult learning as the most important tool for lifelong learning. Through the size and economic influence of the companies participating in the Spektrum Programme, it contributes directly to the achievement of these occupational policy objectives, as well as to the fulfilment of national commitments in line with EU objectives and to increasing Hungary’s economic capacity. It is of paramount importance for the employees of the MÁV group to be able to manage IT tools with the necessary confidence and skills level, in which there are serious shortcomings. In order to improve these skills in general, we are also planning to implement such ICT-related trainings. It is equally important for our employees to have a proper knowledge of the processes, the more and more project-like operation and process-oriented thinking that is more and more typical today, as well as those employed in positions that control the physical staff and require managerial skills to familiarise themselves with the principles and techniques that contribute to the retention and involvement of the workforce. As part of the programme, we plan to implement the following training courses: Training courses for the development of professional competences: Logistics and freight forwarding administrator, Touch protection standard reviewer, Electrical substation operator, Electrical mechanic, Construction and material handling machine operator — lifting machine operator and forklift driver FLIRT driver general, infrastructure and electric vehicle category, Financial and accounting administrator. Efficiency in the field of effective communication in working or cooperation situations, or general knowledge of production organisation or development of team leader competence: Management Toolkit/Management Skills/Advanced Management Techniques, Project Management, Conflict Management, Competence Development. Training to improve employees’ general and professional ICT skills: Access database manager, Computer Basics, Table Management Basics (Excel beginners), Excel advanced, Excel intermediate, Windows 10 knowledge, Compliance with Training Plan requirements: 1. The level of human resources available is very broad from primary to graduate level. The activities they carry out require the management of different IT systems depending on their nature. As a result, digital competences also vary widely. In general, however, the digital competence of a large part of the workforce is lower than the national average.
