This project proposal implements the approved Investment Programme of Pleven Municipality and in a global plan of sustainable urban development policy and includes eligible measures and activities under the investment priority “Urban environment”. The targeted interventions under the project are on sites, part of the linear infrastructure of the town of Pleven, located on the territory of the impact zones defined in the IHLG — “Area with potential for economic development”. The planned works are aimed at refurbishment of physical elements of the urban environment — Transport technical infrastructure (street network), represented by sites: “Vit Street” — from the company “IZOBOR” to the junction with “Second nadgarova” Str. and “Northern” Street, including facilities to transport technical infrastructure — Road overpass for Storgosia.The measures envisaged achieve an integrated impact and synergistic effect on the territory and population of the town of Pleven, both through their spatial location and through the measures and activities envisaged under the other projects, part of the Investment Programme of the municipality, which concern interventions in the educational, social and cultural infrastructure, as well as the development of integrated urban transport. This project proposal has a valorising effect by building on and further developing the renovation works implemented under the project “Ensuring sustainable urban environment of Pleven” on 30 sites from the urbanised territory of the town of Pleven.
