Reconstruction, modernisation and introduction of energy efficiency measures for multi-apartment buildings on the territory of Malko Tarnovo

The project proposal provides for the introduction of energy efficiency measures in four multi-apartment buildings on the territory of Malko Tarnovo. The planned activities include the implementation of energy-saving measures prescribed by the consultant and the implementation of the guidelines and recommendations set out in the technical passport in order to achieve at least the energy consumption class “C” in the building. Better performance of buildings under intervention will significantly reduce the operational costs of buildings and contribute to the extension of their lifecycle. The project aims at implementing the following thematic objectives under the General Regulation 1303/2013: Thematic objective 4 ‘Supporting the shift towards a low-carbon economy in all sectors’. The interventions under the project proposal will contribute to the achievement of the indicative national energy saving targets for 2020 under the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan 2014-2020. The support aims to adequately address the problems related to increased migration to cities and cities, better quality of life and a better socio-residential environment in the town of Malko Tarnovo. Energy renovation activities will prolong the life of buildings, reduce maintenance costs and help reduce greenhouse gases and encourage people to stay in small settlements.
