The project proposal (PP) is related to reconstruction and renovation of four important municipal schools for Dobrich and the region — Geo Milev Language School, Hristo Botev Primary School, Ivan Vazov High School of Natural Sciences and 32 Zornitsa Children’s Garden. The aim of the measures included in the PP is to renew and modernise municipal educational infrastructure that ensures equal access to quality education, improvement of the learning process and labour market realisation. The planned activities for reconstruction, introduction of energy efficiency measures and construction of accessible architectural environment will lead to the following results:-Reconstructed and renewed educational infrastructure in three key educational institutions in Dobrich — EG "Geo Milev", Primary School "Hr. Botev, PMG "Iv. Vazov", providing educational services for the population of the Dobrich region and beyond;-Reconstructed and renewed educational infrastructure in the Children’s Garden No 32 "Zornitsa", located in the Impact Zone with a predominant social character and serving a large part of the remote/outer neighbourhoods of Dobrich;- Established accessible environment in the four sites, with appropriate architectural and social — living conditions, providing access to and inclusion of persons with disabilities;- Improving basic and profiled education and better realisation of graduates;- Created conditions for equal access to quality education, full integration and socialisation of children and students from disadvantaged families, including Roma;- Improved environmental status by introducing a complex of energy efficiency measures in four buildings of the municipal educational infrastructure (saved CO2 354.62 t/year);- Creating an appropriate, safe and comfortable educational environment for the target groups.
