The project proposal is set out in the Investment Programme of the Municipality of Dobrich and the Integrated Plan for Urban Reconstruction and Development under procedure BG16RFOP001-1.001-039 “Implementation of Integrated Plans for Urban Reconstruction and Development 2014-2020” under Priority Axis 1 “Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development” of Operational Programme “Regions in Growth” 2014-2020, Investment Priority “Urban Environment”, group of activities “Zones with potential for economic development”. The project “Improving, upgrading and reconstruction of infrastructure in a zone with potential for economic development in Dobrich”, including reconstruction and rehabilitation of “September 6th” street of Dobrich with two sub-sites south and north/and a diversion to Dobrudjanski Bread AD/will improve not only the infrastructure but also the access and free movement of people with disabilities. Provision is also made for telecommunication connectivity and the replacement of street lighting with energy efficient. The project totals BGN 1 446 029.28. For the correct operation of construction and installation activities, the proposal provides independent construction supervision and author’s supervision. The independent financial audit will monitor the correct spending of funds and compliance with the legal rules and norms. The implementation of all project activities includes and ensures the necessary publicity, visualisation and awareness of the project initiative.
