The reconstruction of Georgi Izmirliev Square and the organisation of street regulation, as well as the reconstruction of the park “Children’s Corn” will help to meet the needs of the target groups, direct beneficiaries and indirect beneficiaries — about 60,000 people for an attractive, modernised, accessible and safe urban environment in the Area with public functions of high public importance of the town of Gorna Oryahovitsa. The project proposal aims to: To improve and enrich the physical environment at Georgi Izmirliev Square and Children’s Corn Park; Ensure equal access for disadvantaged people and promote social inclusion; To increase the safety and security of the residents and guests of the city who use the urban environment sites that are the subject of an intervention under this project; To facilitate the passage of cars and pedestrians through the junction of Tsar Osvoboditel Street and Sv. Prince Boris I" in Gorna Oryahovitsa; To improve the environmental performance of the environment in the Public Functions Area of high public importance of the town of Gorna Oryahovitsa. The project activities to achieve the above objectives are: Organisation and management of the project, publicity, execution of construction works, exercise of copyright and construction supervision, audit. Implementation of the project proposal will provide an attractive, modern, accessible, safe and environmentally friendly urban infrastructure, transforming the area with public functions of high public importance of the town of Gorna Oryahovitsa into a competitive, attractive territory of the city. The duration of the project is foreseen to be 30 months and its value is BGN 5 988 104.86.
