One of the main priorities of Gorna Oryahovitsa Municipality set out in the “Municipal Development Plan of Gorna Oryahovitsa Municipality for the period 2014-2020” is Priority 3: ‘Increasing quality of life’, Specific objective 3.2: Social inclusion and improving the health status of the population. This project proposal will contribute to this priority and specific objective. Aims to meet the needs for long-term and complex day-to-day care, to support social inclusion and improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and adults over 65 years of age, incapable of self-service. On the other hand, the project aims to enable the return to a real labour market of persons caring for their relatives with disabilities. The project will reach its objectives by providing access for at least 90 people from the target groups to hourly integrated services, including psychological support, counselling, social services (home assistant and personal assistant) and health care, according to their individual needs. The project will provide employment and income to a minimum of 58 persons who will provide services to consumers. Those who will provide social services under the project and who are not trained to provide the services of “home assistant” and “personal assistant” will undergo induction training. This will ensure quality care for those in need. For the purpose of wide public awareness and awareness of the participants in the project, an activity will be carried out: information and publicity measures. The activity will inform about the nature of the project and the donor. The implementation of the project will meet the identified needs of the target groups and reduce the risk of institutional care. The project is worth BGN 499968.30 and has a total duration of 20 months. The project services will be provided 18 months.
