The project “Implementation of energy efficiency measures in public and multi-apartment buildings on the territory of the town of Botevgrad — stage 2” is under Priority Axis 2,Support for energy efficiency in support centres in peripheral areas of the OPRG. Within the framework of the project for 1 public building (Military Club Building) and 3 buildings from the residential infrastructure (Sinchetz, 7, 17th November Str., Zora, 26 Benkovska Str., Ent. A, 25 G. S. Rakovski Str., Ent. B, Urvich, Botevgrad, Bulgaria Blvd. 4) the following types of work will be implemented:- all energy efficiency measures prescribed in the energy efficiency audit of each building;- structural restoration/improvement activities prescribed in the technical passport of the buildings;- construction works covering the renovation and reconstruction of different parts of the building (applies for buildings achieving at least energy consumption class “C” and at least 60 % energy savings of primary energy), which are prescribed as mandatory in the technical passport of the building;- accompanying construction and installation works related to the implementation of energy efficiency measures and restoration of the initial condition disturbed as a result of the renovation;- improving access for persons with disabilities to the above-mentioned buildings. For each of the buildings within the project, the following activities will be carried out: preparation of investment project, exercise of author’s supervision, assessment of the conformity of the investment project and construction supervision during construction. The necessary information and publicity and high efficiency management of the project will be provided. As a result of the implementation of the project, 4 buildings will be renovated, the annual primary energy consumption of buildings will be reduced by 1 156 129.80 kWh/year, the annual greenhouse gas levels of the equivalent of 258.41 tonnes of CO2 and 52 households will be reduced, and will move to the higher energy consumption class.
