The project proposal is aimed at improving the urban environment in the town of Asenovgrad and in particular the development of inter-block spaces in the Zapad residential complex on a total area of over 100 decares. The investment project provides for the implementation of large-scale landscaping activities, construction of irrigation system, construction of children’s and sports grounds, recreation and recreation areas, rehabilitation of internal-quartal streets and pavements, formation of additional parking spaces, construction of energy-saving street and park lighting, as well as video surveillance system in the complex. The project proposal is part of the Investment Programme of the Municipality of Asenovgrad for the implementation of the Integrated Plan for Urban Reconstruction and Development of the town of Asenovgrad (IPHLG) for the period 2014-2020. The planned interventions are concentrated in the impact area defined in the plan with a predominant social character. Besides the construction and installation works, the project also includes activities for author’s and construction supervision, information and communication, as well as independent audit of the project.
