This project aims to improve the quality of life and access to services for social inclusion of people with disabilities and people over 65 years old, inability to self-service, by overcoming the consequences of their social exclusion and poverty. The project is innovative in nature and is aimed at improving the quality of life and promoting the social inclusion of at least 60 persons with partial or total inability to self-service, living in the territory of the municipality of Asenovgrad, thus fully in line with Specific Objective 1 to Investment Priority 3: “Improving access to social inclusion and healthcare services for people with disabilities and people over 65 without self-service”. The activities of the project will build on the functioning Service Unit in Home Environment at Home Social Patronage, funded under OP “Human Resources Development” scheme “Home help”, with implementation period 2013-2014. Integrated services in the home environment will be provided. The integrated services complex will be provided after individual needs assessments and the horizontal principles of equal opportunities and non-discrimination, gender equality will be respected. The guiding principles in the implementation of the activities will be placing in the “centre” the needs and needs of the “individual person” and ensuring integrated access to health, social and other services, according to the specific needs of the disadvantaged person, given its individual assessment The project will be implemented in accordance with the updated National Strategy for Demographic Development of the Population in the Republic of Bulgaria (2012-2030), the National Strategy for Long-term Care and the National Strategy for Reducing Poverty and Promoting Social Inclusion 2020.
