The best for children

The project proposal aims to open up new types of services and expand the capacity of existing social services on the territory of the town of Stara Zagora to replace the institutional model of childcare. The project activities include the establishment of the following services — Day Care Centre for Support of Children with Disabilities and their Families, Centre for Public Support, Day Care Centre for Children with severe multiple disabilities and their families and Observed Housing for young people aged 18-21. The main activities of the project are to carry out construction and repair works and purchase of furniture/equipment, as follows: Refurbishment, repair and reconstruction of the building of the “Nezabravka” DDLG, Samara, the building of the former CDC 32 in the creation of the following services — Day Care Centre for Children with Disabilities and their Families, the CSR for Children with Autism and the Centre for Public Support (Public Support Centre); Refurbishment, repair and reconstruction of the building of the “Teofano Popova” DDLG and disclosure of the service Day center for support of children with severe multiple disabilities and their families in the municipality of Stara Zagora; Repair of the existing CCS at 205 Hristo Botev Str. in order to increase the users of the services provided in it; Repair and furnishing of an apartment, located in the town of Stara Zagora, Zheleznik 15, Zagorka Str., ent. 0, total built-up area=87.82 sq.m. for creating the service “Observed housing for young people from 18 to 21 years old” The total capacity of the supported infrastructure for childcare is 329 persons.
