The present project provides for the training of 190 employees from the territorial directorates of the NAP (TD of the National Revenue Agency) and the “Appeals and Tax Insurance Practice” Directorates (OPOP) in order to improve their knowledge and skills in applying National Accounting Standards. The higher qualification of NRA staff in the field of accounting standards will minimise the amount of errors and weaknesses in the activities carried out as a result of shortcomings in the knowledge of accounting standards, which is an essential factor for increasing the efficiency of the control bodies in the NRA. The aim group of this project are officials from the Control Directorates of the NAP and officials from the Regional Directorates of the National Revenue Agency, determined on the basis of the nature of the work, namely checks, revisions, as well as the methodology applied for their implementation, appeal and defence in the legal representation. Building on and acquiring new knowledge and skills specific to staff qualifications is a priority for the Agency. Good information and the necessary knowledge will contribute to the proper organisation of the workflow in the control activities carried out by the staff of the territorial structures of the National Revenue Agency and the Regional Directorates of the ODOP. As a result of the implementation of the project 190 employees of the National Revenue Agency will have successfully received training in the application of National Accounting Standards by obtaining a certificate.
