“Increasing the capacity and modernisation of the institution by providing specialised training for MLSP staff”

The project is designed in response to the need to build on and enhance the institutional capacity of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy (MLSP) to realise its public role in developing and implementing social policy at national level, by implementing and providing access to specialised trainings and participations in events (conferences, round tables, seminars, workshops, discussions, etc.) related to exchange and dissemination of experience, within the competencies of the employees and in the context of improving and upgrading policies. In practice, the qualification of MLSP employees involved in the specialised areas of competence — labour market, social inclusion, equal opportunities, non-discrimination, working conditions, demographic development, etc. will be increased, as well as the capacity of MLSP employees responsible for the development and implementation of policies in the above areas, including planning, monitoring and analysis in these areas, as well as improving the skills to undertake adequate activities and solutions, as well as to perform their duties more effectively and efficiently. The planned activities cover the employees of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, outside the employees of the Directorate General “EMFP”. The results of the project — study and analysis of the training needs of the employees of MLSP; providing access to specialised trainings and participations in events (conferences, round tables, seminars, workshops, discussions, etc.) related to the exchange and dissemination of experience are directly related to the activities of the employees of the MLSP and to the improvement and upgrading of the policies of the MLSP. Such defined activities and planned results correspond and fall within the scope of the objectives set out under Priority Axis No 1 and Priority Axis No 3 of OP HRD 2014-2020.
