The project will develop updated medium- and long-term forecasts for the development of the labour market and prepare estimates of the net impact of the active labour market policy, financed by the state budget. The forecasts for the development of the labour market will be updated and made public among the stakeholders. The forecasts will be used to improve the planning in the education system and the provision of training for qualification and for the development of sectoral policies. Two reports with forecasts on the development of the labour market and future labour demand and supply in Bulgaria will be prepared and disseminated. Two reports containing the results of the assessments of the net impact of the active labour market policy financed by the BD are also planned to be prepared under the project. The aim is to ensure that the results of both evaluations contribute to increasing the focus and effectiveness of the employment policy pursued. All reports containing the forecasts developed and the evaluations produced will be disclosed, discussed and submitted to stakeholders. It is envisaged that meetings with key ministries and institutions will be held to discuss the possibilities for improving the foresight process and the possibilities to use forecasts and assessments for policy planning in different areas. All the results of the forecasts developed and the evaluations produced will also be available on the Internet, via a page that will provide interactive opportunities when presenting them to users. The project also foresees trainings for the use of the developed forecasts and evaluations in policy development. The implementation of the project will contribute to improving the planning process of the implemented employment policy, using the forecasts developed and the results of the net impact assessments carried out.
