This project is for the design, delivery, installation and commissioning of Automatic Platform Doors (APPP) with vertical opening of a large opening for 12 metro stations from the Sofia Metro Line 1. With the implementation of the project, including the installation and installation of all equipment, cables, materials and equipment in 12 metro stations from the Sofia metro line 1, we will provide a physical barrier to the pedestrian area on the platforms in the metro stations from the area where the metro trains are moving. The designated metro stations are the following: Line 1: —Slivnitsa-Lyulin-Western Park-Vardar-Konstantin Velichkov-Opalchenska-Serdika-Sofia University "Sv. Kliment Ohridski"-Vasil Levski Stadium-G. M. DIMITROVs Annex No 1 to grant agreement No DOPTTI-2/03.04.2020 The metro stations Serdika 2 and National Palace of Culture (NDK) under Line 2 are replaced by metro stations Mladost I and IEC-Tsarigradsko Shose on Line 1, in accordance with the justification in letter 32-01-80/26.02.2021, the automatic platform doors will have a length of 85 metres, corresponding to the length of the train stop area at the platforms in the stations, with the rest of the platforms closed with railings. The height of the Automatic platform partition doors will be 170 cm, measured from the level of the platform. With the realisation of the project, accidents resulting from the fall and intentional intrusion of passengers on the railway track in the specific metro stations and the adjacent tunnels will be completely prevented. The location of the designated 12 metro stations from Line 1 of the Sofia Metro is presented on Map 3 in point 2.2 of Section II Description of the project of Appendix 4 to the Application Form. The project has been implemented since 01.10.2019.
