The project will update the Agency’s technical facilities for carrying out deepening works on the fairway. With the newly delivered equipment, which will include dredgers, floating pipes for transportation of deposits, pontoon, non-self-propelled shawl, manoeuvring vessel, will increase the current dredging capacity several times. This will allow a larger volume of dredging to be carried out in less time. The newly delivered equipment will also increase the effect of timely dredging for quicker activation of the river’s self-washing capacity, for more permanent retention of the required depths at medium and lower water levels. In a shorter time, the quantities of dredging determined by the technological plan will be implemented in a specific critical section. No dredging is foreseen in the scope of the project.
