Technological eco-innovations UAB “Plastiksė”

UAB Plastiksė (hereinafter — Plastiksė) has been manufacturing PET bottles since 2000 and is one of the leading companies manufacturing and supplying PET products to the beverage, food, cosmetic, chemical and medical industries. The company’s list of clients is very wide — the products are supplied to both small local companies and large multinationals. _x000D_The geographical location of the enterprise enables close cooperation with enterprises in the Eastern European and Scandinavian regions. Proximity to Klaipeda port allows the company to easily meet the needs of foreign customers by ensuring faster delivery of products. In order to ensure the long-term competitiveness of UAB Plastiksė, it is necessary to continue investments related to the sustainability of the company’s activities. Investment planning must take into account aspects that ensure business sustainability, such as the need to reduce the amount of raw materials and energy consumed in the production of products, the use of environmentally friendly and reusable raw materials in production, thereby contributing to the adoption of circular economy principles. Accordingly, the main objective of the project is the introduction of technological eco-innovations in order to reduce the negative environmental impact of economic activities and to conserve natural resources.
