REFURBISHMENT OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING AND GARAGE DEPOT OF THE FIRE AND RESCUE DEPARTMENT IN THE FUTURE G. 17, VILNIUS

Refurbishment of the administrative building and garage deck of the Fire and Rescue Department. The aim of the project is the renovation of the Department’s administrative building and garage depot located in Vilnius Ateities str. 17 in order to achieve the energy efficiency class of B buildings. During the project, energy saving measures will be invested. The estimated annual savings are estimated at 177.16 MWh/year. The renovated building will also be more environmentally friendly, with 55.12 tonnes of greenhouse gas (carbon dioxide) emitting less greenhouse gases (carbon dioxide) each year thanks to more energy savings. The modernisation of these buildings will not only improve the energy and technical characteristics, extend the service life of the main building structures, but also create better working and stay conditions for employees and interested persons applying to the institution. The main activity of the project is the refurbishment of buildings, during which the following actions will be implemented: Insulation of walls with plinth (and foundation depth of 0.60 m) and overlays bordering on the outside; Roof insulation; Replacement of windows and lightlights; Replacement of garage doors; Modernisation of the heating system (installation of thermostatic valves near radiators); Modernisation of the hot water supply system (change of pipelines and installation of new thermal insulation); Replacement of luminaires with LED luminaires; Replacement of cold water supply pipelines; Design and maintenance. Refurbished buildings are owned by the State. The results of the project will be owned by the project applicant, i.e. the Fire and Rescue Department under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania. The building is intended to be used by its intended use for at least 10 years.
