The investment project identified a problem: “Lack of quality water supply and wastewater management services in Anykščiai city and district due to the lack of existing infrastructure”. Objective of the project: “To enable the residents of Anykščiai district to connect to the centralised water supply and wastewater management system and to receive quality water supply and wastewater management services in Anykščiai district municipality, and to protect the environment from the harmful effects of discharged waste water in Anyksciai district”. The main target groups of the project are: Residents of Kebloniai village in Anyksciai district; Residents of Anykščiai city and district. In order to achieve the objective of the project, the following objectives are envisaged: No 1: increasing the quality and accessibility of the services provided by constructing new water supply and wastewater management networks in Kebloniai village of Anykščiai district and in the community of gardens “Šaltupys”. No 2: increasing the quality of the services provided by carrying out an inventory of water supply and sewage networks in Anyksciai city and district. The following activities are carried out during the project: Construction of new water supply and sewage networks in Kebloniai village and garden community “Šaltupys”; Inventory of water supply and sewage networks in Anykčiai city and district. The project delivers: The population connected to the water supply networks is 288; Population connected to sewage networks: 288; The length of newly built water supply networks in Keblonys is 7.881 km; Length of newly built sewage networks in Keblonys — 7.743 km; Inventory of water supply and sewage networks in Anykščiai city and district — 41 km (25 km of water supply networks and 16 km of sewage networks).
