“Introduction of modern technologies into the development of production capacity”

JSC “Geralda” is the largest candle manufacturer in Lithuania, producing candles in glass, plastic and tin containers. Currently, most products consist of grave candles and mosquito candles. During the implementation of the project, modern equipment will be acquired: tea candle production line, tea candle jar production line, collaborative robots, automated thermobarrier and airless 4-capacity system with technological pipeline and candle production module with integrated coloborative robot. The installation of the above-mentioned equipment will trigger the mass production of tea candles intended to be produced from bio-products (rapeseed, palm oil, etc.) and the production of tea candle cups (polypropylene waste, fully degradable plastic). In order to produce tea candle cups from plastic waste and from fully degradable and compostable plastic, the company patented the shape and design of the tea candle jar, which eliminates the possibility of wick shifting. As part of the R & D & I activities, candle clamps have been developed to limit the movement of the wick holder, thus eliminating the risk of ignition, as the intended production of degradable plastic containers is highly flammable.
