The objective of the project is to increase the availability (universality) of centralised water supply and wastewater management services, to seek to ensure quality drinking water supply and wastewater management for the population, to implement the requirements of the EU Waste Water Directive 91/271/EEC for wastewater treatment, to reduce soil and groundwater pollution and to reduce the risk of pollution of groundwater resources in the territory of Kazlu Ruda municipality, expanding the number of people receiving water management services and to improve the quality of water management services provided in the project area-Kazlu Ruda Municipality Ąžuolai Method, Antanave. The project provides for the construction of 4 074 km of new water supply and 3.898 km of waste water collection networks, allowing the connection to the public water supply for 83 dwellings (189 inhabitants), 83 dwellings (pop. 187 inhabitants) and 1.714 km of water supply networks to be reconstructed.
