Existing water supply networks in Swiss and Kulva k., domestic sewage networks in Upninkai villages and Užusaliai, and water supply and domestic sewage networks in Jonava, Ruklos mstl. and Žeimiai, have been installed very long ago, so some of them need to be renovated due to deterioration. Water supply networks in Ragožiai village and Prauliai village are installed, but there is no wastewater management system. Domestic sewage networks are installed in the district of Užusaliai, while in the other part of the village there are no domestic sewage networks. For this reason, new domestic sewage networks need to be built in the villages of Ragožiai, Prauliai and Užusaliai. During the implementation of the project, it is planned to reconstruct about 4.319 km of water supply and about 3.87 km of domestic sewage networks and to construct about 16.553 km of new domestic sewage networks. This project will address the fundamental problem of insufficient access to water supply and wastewater disposal services, as well as the poor state of existing engineering networks. The implementation of the project will allow 536 residents to join the centralised wastewater management system and provide access to quality water supply and wastewater management services.
