The objective of the project is to increase the availability (universality) of centralised water supply and wastewater management services, to seek to ensure quality drinking water supply and wastewater management for the population, to implement the requirements of the EU Waste Water Directive 91/271/EEC for wastewater treatment, to reduce soil and groundwater pollution and the risk of pollution of groundwater resources in the project area, by extending the number of people receiving water management services and improving the quality of water management services provided in the project area. The project provides for the construction of 6.621 km of new water supply and 6.860 km of sewage networks, allowing connection to the public water supply for 183 dwellings (494 inhabitants), 195 dwellings (residents 526), reconstruction of 0.738 km of water supply networks and 2.1 km of sewage pressure networks in Kaltennai, improving water supply services for 24 dwellings (65 inhabitants), improving the efficiency of wastewater management services for 240 dwellings (648 inhabitants).
