Presentation of Lithuanian natural and cultural heritage objects (resources) to the inbound tourism markets of Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark

The aim of the project is to promote inbound tourism and to promote responsible tourism through the marketing of natural and cultural sites and national tourism routes, routes and cultural routes in the Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish and Danish markets. Activities implemented by the project: 1. Implementation of integrated tourism marketing measures in Sweden and Norway, introducing and promoting national tourism routes, routes, cultural routes and priority tourism products covering cultural and natural heritage sites, increasing their visibility and attendance; 2. Implementation of advertising campaigns in Finland by introducing and promoting national tourism routes, routes, cultural routes and priority tourism products covering cultural and natural heritage sites, increasing their visibility and attendance; 3. Organisation of study tours in Lithuania for journalists and tourism professionals in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark, introducing and promoting national tourist routes, routes, cultural roads, natural and cultural heritage sites, increasing their awareness and attendance; 4. Organisation of participation in international tourism exhibitions in Sweden, Norway and Finland, presenting and promoting national tourism routes, routes, cultural routes and priority tourism products covering cultural and natural heritage objects, increasing their visibility and attendance. The objective of the project and planned activities is in line with objective 5.4.1 of Priority 5 “Environmental protection, sustainable use of natural resources and adaptation to climate change” of the 2014-2020 Operational Programme for investments from the European Union funds “Increase the relevance, attendance and visibility of cultural and natural heritage, public awareness of the surrounding environment”, measure No 05.4.1-LVPA-V-812 “Marketing of national tourism routes, routes and products and development of tourism labelling infrastructure” aims to increase the attendance and visibility of cultural and natural heritage sites.
