Presentation of Lithuanian natural and cultural heritage objects (resources) to targeted inbound tourism markets

The aim of the project is to promote inbound tourism and to promote responsible tourism through the marketing of natural and cultural sites and national tourism routes, routes and cultural routes in the target markets of the United Kingdom and Germany. Activities implemented by the project: 1. Implementation of integrated tourism marketing measures in Germany and the United Kingdom by introducing and promoting national tourism routes, routes, cultural routes and priority tourism products covering cultural and natural heritage sites, increasing their visibility and attendance; 2. Organising study tours in Lithuania for journalists and tourism professionals in Germany and the United Kingdom, introducing and promoting national tourism routes, routes, cultural roads, natural and cultural heritage sites, increasing their visibility and attendance; 3. To prepare and distribute a promotional article in the United Kingdom, presenting Lithuanian cultural heritage — UNESCO objects, increasing their awareness and attendance, and contributing to intercultural understanding and tolerance; 4. Organisation of participation in international tourism exhibitions in Germany, introducing and promoting national tourism routes, routes, cultural roads and priority tourism products, including cultural and natural heritage objects, increasing their visibility and attendance. The aim is to implement 16 complex measures, prepare and publish 1 promotional article, at least 4 series of study tours for journalists and tourism professionals and 3 exhibitions. The target will also be at least 5 %. change in the number of unique users of e-marketing tools (in 2015 the German and United Kingdom markets together had 4.058 followers)increase within 1 year from the start of the project activities.
