The number and intensity of disasters caused by climate change increase the impact of natural disasters caused by climate change on population, health, property and the environment. Speeding up the arrival of the State Fire Rescue Service (hereinafter referred to as DSS) and more effective response to disasters and managing their response would prevent or reduce deaths, health problems, direct property damage to the population and lower public financial costs. The aim of this project is to improve the quality of fire response and disaster management by mitigating the consequences of natural disasters caused by climate change. This objective will be achieved by purchasing rescue equipment (container pumping stations, staff container with equipment, mobile fire pumps, medium-class tankers, diver vehicles, heavy-class high-performance tanks, special passenger cars, vehicle for transporting people (no less than 32 seats), rescue modules, which will consist of lorry tanks with equipment, amphibious, aeroboats) needed for the effective response of the VPGT to disasters caused by floods and forest fires. Firefighting techniques and equipment will help to respond more effectively to floods and forest fires due to the adverse effects of climate change and will help to ensure that the consequences of these events are addressed.
