The aim is to develop the circular economy and create new operating models.Until now, the benefits collected in our centre have been delivered as such. During the project, the situation will be rectified so that new products will be produced from the collected benefits. Examples:1. All the compost space produced will be used by itself. It is grown in its own greenhouses with cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, chili, etc. In addition, seedlings are grown for sale.2. Most of the bicycles that came to our centre have gone directly into scrap metal. In the future, all wheels will be disassembled and working parts will be utilised.3. Metal scrap is no longer delivered as such, but metals are sorted and made into different products.Developing new forms of activitiesMediapajaThe aim of the workshop is to provide young people with the skills required for multimedia work. These include filming, processing of images, making videos, producing text, etc.Vasanaro farmTila is located in the city of Oulu district of Pikkarana along the Oulu River. The farm offers excellent opportunities for organic farming and experimentation. Oulujoki also offers an opportunity to study skills related to nature tourism. The aim is that people on the Oulu River can come there to prepare a gurmee meal. In the future, such small premises may even be a tourist asset in Oulu. Oulu is likely to have more beaches than any other city on Earth. Now, these beaches are shattered wastelands. The area needed for cultivation on the Vasanaro farm has already been cleared and stumps and twigs removed. In the long term (3-5 years) we may be able to offer up to 100 new jobs for the target group.The development project will be carried out between 01.06.2016-31.08.2019. The project is managed and implemented by the Association of Enterprises. The parallel project ends on 31 December 2019. However, the pay subsidy periods must end at the end of the development project, i.e. by 31 August 2019.
