Parallel project Kemi’s employment and vitality project

The project is a development project S20649, a parallel project of the Kemi employment and vitality project, which finances wage subsidies related to the above-mentioned development project.Kem’s employment and vitality project is a project managed by the City of Kemi, the main objective of which is to develop new forms of work and to promote the employment of chemical workers with a weak labour market status, to strengthen their professional skills and other labour market capacities, and to prevent exclusion from the labour market. The project develops multiple service paths for job-seekers with different actors, enabling them to move from unemployment to the labour market or to training. Similarly, Employer customers are provided with services that enable people with a weak labour market position to find employment in enterprises and other jobs. As a result, the quality and effectiveness of chemical customer processes, which are in a weak position on the labour market, will be improved. Long-term unemployed and young people’s capacity to work will improve. The project will reduce unemployment in Kem. There is a better match between jobs and workers.
