The project proposes to take the maps of the Flood Risk Prevention Plans (PPRI) in order to divert them and reveal an imaginary world hidden under regulatory information. The ambition is that the public, surprised by these visual objects located between reality of a territory and fiction, appropriate the maps to better understand the risk of flooding in the commune. The scenography mixes digital interactivity with fantastic creations. In digital format, displayed on touch screens. Visitors thus visualise the heights of water according to the floods. The potential of maps ultimately allows us to move from imagination to reality and from the local to the global, the digital format will provide a wider knowledge of the flooding phenomenon. In this way, the public can learn not only about the risk posed by their habitat, the facilities, remarkable buildings (...) but also (re)discover the local history and learn about what to do before, during and after an episode of flooding.
